Elementary
At Arshag Dickranian School, academic instruction is focused on the development of students’ skills in all academic areas including reading and writing in English, arithmetic, science, social studies and Eastern and Western Armenian. The Elementary also offers innovative classes such as Spanish, Life Skills and Health & Fitness. Students also take computer readiness classes to enhance their knowledge and ability to compete in an ever-growing technological world, as well as lessons in music, dance, gymnastics and PE to enrich their performance abilities.

The teachers utilize various techniques in teaching their students, such as special projects, contests, fairs and field trips. Class sessions are reinforced with homework and other tasks in order to explore the students’ aptitude for learning outside their classroom experience.
