TCA Arshag Dickranian School views athletics and sports as a major part of its curriculum. The school offers its students a strong educational experience in athletics by providing the students with experienced coaches, guidance and necessary facilities.
The Dickranian Lions joined the CIF Tournament during the 2009 – 2010 scholastic year and won 3rd place in Division 6A of the Californian Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Tournament in early 2010. In winter of 2011, the Dickranian Lions won first place in the Eastside Christian’s Eagles Classic Basketball Tournament (CIF Division 6). Their achievements deserve special praise because the team has won its standing by competing against high schools with student bodies more than tenfold that of Arshag Dickranian School.Aside from its Annual Athletic Field Day, the school athletes participate in the KAHAM Tournaments, AGBU basketball games and CIF Tournaments.

The Dickranian Lions Junior-Junior Boys Basketball Team won 1st place in the AGBU Basketball Tournament held at the AGBU Pasadena Center on in summer of 2011. This was yet another victory for the Dickranian Lions time again, proving to be a challenging team to play against since the junior high basketball team won 1st place in the AGBU – AYA Glendale – Pasadena Chapter Tournament in summer of 2010.

In Spring 2010, TCA Arshag Dickranian School’s athletes attained impressive scores in the 2009 – 2010 KAHAM Tournament with their compelling performance in table tennis, track and field, basketball and soccer. The participants’ performance was a reflection of their developed athletic skills, their team spirit and their love for sports. Once again, the Dickranian teams proved that their effort and training paid off since they won either first, second or third place in these matches.

The school currently has basketball, volleyball, soccer and table tennis teams for boys and girls; range from 3rd to 12th grades. The school plans create a new track and field team this year. In addition, the school will be participating in the KAHAM Tournaments this year as well.
