TCA Arshag Dickranian Holds Its Second Annual Sports Banquet Los Angeles, June 1, 2009 – TCA Arshag Dickranian School held its Second Annual Sports Banquet in its lavish Walter and Laurel Karabian Hall on Saturday, May 30, at 7:30 pm.
Organized by the school’s Sports Committee, The Second Annual Sports Banquet brought together a circle of students, parents and friends to award all the students who have excelled in soccer, basketball and track and field and all those individuals who have shown support to the sports activities. The students received trophies for their participation in The Salvation Army sports activities while David Sulian and Asatur Supikyan received NBA’s and WNBA’s Skill Challenge Award. To show gratitude to the sponsor of the event, Mr. Baltayan, The Sports Committee honored him with an award of appreciation. Mr. Mandossian, Mr. Kourouyan and head-coach Rudolph Rameh also received trophies and awards of appreciation for their constant involvement in the improvement of the school’s sports activities.

Chaired by Mr. Hagop Mazloumian, The Sports Committee has been heavily involved in sports related activities in the school. The Sports Committee has held fundraisers, lunches and has traveled with the teams to fulfill its commitment to the welfare of Arshag Dickranian School. The Sports Committee traveled along with The Dickranian Lions to attend The Double Pump All Star High School Boys’ Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas last April.
